The Chairman thanked the Councillors involved with the Autumn Show, which was well attended and enjoyed. Cllr E Woodhouse advised £444.00 was raised for the Village Hall.

Allotments – Resolve on Allotment rent notices (Item 13)

Resolve on Long Sutton Fire Department gym equipment grant – The Council Resolved to grant £100 towards gym equipment.

Cemetery and Church gates – Chairman to enquire for quotes to sandblast and re-paint the gates. To be added to the budget for next financial year.

Parking issues at St Nicholas Primary School  - Ongoing with LCC.

13.  Allotments 102.24

Resolve on Allotment rent Notices.  

The Council resolved to re-issue rent notices, to review rent in October 2025, however, rent will remain at the current rate for the next 12 months.

 

14. Play/Open Areas 103.24

Discuss RoSPA Annual Inspection Report.

This was discussed. No areas of safety concern.

 

Discuss future plans for park developments.

The Council discussed and quotes for park developments. Clerk to make further enquiries to gain more quotes.

 

15. Discuss Defibrillator Quotes And Funding 104.24

This was discussed. The Clerk can apply for funding. Chairman to make enquiries for defibrillators which do not require heated cabinets.

 

16. Resolve on insurance quote 105.24

This was proposed, seconded and resolved.

 

17. Community Speed Watch 106.24

Update on volunteers

Unfortunately, there are two remaining volunteers. Defer to Spring to re-discuss.
