The Council resolved to update the Clerk wages in-line with LALC Scales, back dated to 1st April 2025.

The Chairman has been contacted regarding accessible parking at the church at busy times. Clerk to contact Highways for parking restrictions/disability parking space installation.

H12-0623-25, Mrs J Williamson, change of use of agricultural buildings to 5 dwellings, Villa Farm, Lutton Garnsgate. SHDC Decision : Approved

H12-0474-25 Mr M Ludlam, Increase number of children from 16 to 21 in connection with current child minding business (Modification of Condition 3 of H12-0598-22) and siting of log cabin in association with business (comments by 14.07.25). SHDC Decision : Approved

H12-0552-25, Mr J Griggs, Proposed change of access from School Lane to Bank Lane and two-storey side extension – approved under H12-1166-21. Modification under Condition 2 to allow amendments to previous plans, 10 School Lane, Lutton (comments by 14.07.25).  SHDC Decision : Approved

Resolve on memorial application (R King memorials)

The Council Resolved to approve the memorial application.

 

12. Highways & Footways 100.25

Update on outstanding matters

- Puddingpoke Lane – application to make section one-way – Hedge has now been cut back outside one residence. Clerk to chase County Cllr Carey for update.

- Parking at Primary school – Bus stop has now been moved to Village Green. Highways to re-visit to assess parking issues at school.

13.  Allotments 101.25

Discuss Garden Allotment resignation

The allotment has been cleared. First person on the waiting list has been contacted.  

 

14. Play/Open Areas 102.25

a. Update on Park developments – equipment removal, bird & bat boxes

The Chairman will arrange for bird and bat boxes to be installed.

Contractor has levelled ground. Awaiting topsoil delivery before re-seeding.

 

b. Update on quotes for replacement swings

Await final costs of ground works and rubber removal before obtaining quotes for next stages.

 

c. Resolve on quote for ground repair/seed  

The Council resolved to accept this quote.

 

d. Discuss RoSPA Annual Inspection Report

This was discussed. No areas of safety concern.

 

15. Update On New Defibrillator 103.25

An application has been submitted to British Heart Foundation for a new defibrillator.  

 

16. Resolve On Insurance Quote 104.25

The Council resolved to accept the insurance quote, with a three-year agreement.
